You're an ex-New England preppie who has lived up and down both coasts (always blue states--instinctively you avoided Jesus-land), but you've been happily living in NYC since 2001. After an 8 year stint in LA you realized you didn't want to reach a ripe old age and look back upon your sun-drenched life only to say, "Wow, you had a lot of great weather..." You did the relationship thing since the dawn of gay man and have done the single thing for the past three. Let's just say you know how to commit, but you're in no rush to make a mistake.
He's funny, in shape, and likes to go out and experience life. He's out to his friends and family. He's liberal, open-minded, yet somehow old-fashioned. He should challenge you and make you want to make him laugh. If he likes taking long walks on the beach and is equally comfortable in a tux as he is in jeans, then he needs to do some more work on his online profile. Silly Rabbit, the Mets play at Shea! But they did score enough touchdowns to win the game.
I, of course, almost got kicked out for drinking a beer in the "no alcohol" section. Obviously I was not the one who bought the tickets!
This time, security stole your beer. Next time, I might steal your beer.
Good to hang out that night, and wherever we meet next, let's make sure there's enough libations to go around. Not to mention cupcakes.
Hmmm, trying to 'score' a hot, hunky halfback?
Mark :-)
