From your writing he seemed too conflicted over his feeling with his room mate. I think there was more to the story than he let on. Maybe he was the one that helped save him from drugs, maybe he felt like he owed it to him to only date someone that got on well with him?

I have to agree with you, Tim. Looking back at it now, the insane blow-up with the Jealous Roommate was the beginning of the end. I don't understand why, and unfortunately, I probably will never understand why. I do know that, with any boy I'm dating, I'd prefer to rank higher on the evolutionary scale than his damn roommate!
